Reporting a problem
To resolve a problem quickly, please include:
- the device and the version of its operating system;
- the version of the application, shown in Settings;
- the steps you took, the result you expected and the result you observed;
- whether the problem occurs every time or occurred once;

Please obscure any confidential information before sending a screenshot; details of your clients and sites are not required in order to investigate a fault.
Frequently asked questions
Where are projects stored?
Entirely on the device. Snapvero has no user account and no cloud storage, so projects are not uploaded and do not synchronise between devices.
How do I move a project to another device?
Export the project as a portable archive and import that file on the other device. The archive carries the photographs together with the annotations, so work can continue without loss of quality or editability.
Can projects be recovered after the application is removed?
No. Removing the application deletes its stored data, and application data is not included in system backups, so photographs of client sites are not copied into cloud backups. We recommend exporting an archive of any project you would not want to reconstruct, and before changing devices.
How is the appearance of a report controlled?
The layout of the pages, the paper and orientation, and the business details shown in the report are chosen on the export screen, and the result can be examined there before the file is saved or sent. The options available are listed on that screen; they are extended from version to version.
Can a report be edited after it is exported?
Yes. Besides a fixed-layout document, the report can be exported in an editable document format that opens in common word processors: headings, captions and paragraphs remain editable text. Photographs are embedded with their annotations already merged into the image.
Do masked areas remain hidden?
In exported documents the mask is merged into the image, so the area beneath it is not present in the file. A portable archive is different by design: it keeps the photographs and the annotations separately so that the project remains editable. The application warns you of this before the archive is created. Archives should therefore be sent only to recipients who may see the original photographs.
The report is produced in the wrong language
The language of the report is chosen on the export screen and is independent of the interface language, so a report may be produced in a language other than the one you work in. The interface language follows the system setting and can be changed in Settings.
A change could not be saved
The application reports a failed save and retains the change so that the operation can be repeated. If saving fails repeatedly, check the free storage space on the device and then contact us with the steps that reproduce the problem.
